The Pagani Zonda is a supercar produced by Italian car manufacturer Pagani since 1999. Produced about 10 units per year . It is a rear -engined car with body coupe or convertible 2 seats. The construction material is mainly carbon fiber .
Some early Zonda engineering was done by Formula 1 champion Juan Manuel Fangio. This model was originally to be named " Fangio F1" , but after his death in 1995 Fangio Zonda was called in honor of a dry, warm characteristic of the Andean region of western Argentina wind.
Prior to the presentation of the Zonda , the Argentine Horacio Pagani , the creator, had worked as a builder in projects like the Lamborghini Countach Evoluzione Lamborghini and as a designer in the P140 and the Lamborghini Diablo .
Horacio Pagani to Lamborghini came recommended by the Argentinean driver Juan Manuel Fangio. While working for Lamborghini, saw his personal dream : to design and manufacture his own sports car.
A remarkable fact is that the Zonda successfully passes each of the 36 safety assessments previously conducted for manufacturing and marketing.
The dynamic behavior of the car is excellent and track testing by experts it stand out against other supercars.

El Pagani Zonda es un automóvil superdeportivo producido por la empresa automovilística italiana Pagani desde 1999. Se producían aproximadamente 10 unidades por año. Es un automóvil con motor central trasero y con carrocería de 2 asientos cupé o descapotable. El material de construcción es fibra de carbono principalmente.

Algunos principios de la ingeniería del Zonda fueron realizados por el campeón de Fórmula 1 Juan Manuel Fangio. Este modelo originalmente iba a ser llamado "Fangio F1", pero tras la muerte de Fangio en 1995 se lo llamó Zonda, en honor a un viento seco y cálido característico de la zona andina del oeste argentino.

Previamente a la presentación del Zonda, el argentino Horacio Pagani, su creador, había trabajado como constructor en Lamborghini en proyectos como el Lamborghini Countach Evoluzione y como diseñador en el P140 y en el Lamborghini Diablo.

Horacio Pagani llegó a Lamborghini recomendado por el piloto argentino Juan Manuel Fangio. Mientras trabajaba para Lamborghini, concebía su sueño personal: diseñar y fabricar su propio automóvil deportivo.

Un dato destacable es que el Zonda aprueba satisfactoriamente cada una de las 36 evaluaciones de seguridad realizadas previamente para la fabricación y comercialización.

El comportamiento dinámico del auto es excelente y las pruebas en pista realizadas por expertos lo destacan frente a otros superdeportivos.
